Civilization-Grade
Software for a
Converging World

Convergent Systems builds software that helps people, companies, and civilizations flourish.

We create tools at the intersection of artificial intelligence, human resilience, developer productivity, and systems architecture — designed for a future where technology must amplify wisdom, not just speed.

Software

Tools at civilization scale.

A small portfolio of careful products. Each one stands on its own; together they describe how we think technology should serve people.

SteadyDay

Coming soon · App Store

A pacing companion for people living with ME/CFS, Long COVID, fibromyalgia, and other conditions that limit daily capacity. Reads Apple Watch and iPhone health data, calibrates a personal energy envelope, and warns gently before a user pushes past it.

Olympus

Coming soon · May 1

An intent-compression system for long-horizon AI reasoning. Preserves decisions, constraints, and active context across extended sessions — extending effective capacity 1.25–1.5× without losing the user's intent. For builders of agentic systems that need to think for hours, not turns.

Gitignore

Live · Free

A free, open-source command-line tool for managing .gitignore files. Templates from GitHub and Toptal, local overrides, and an MCP server mode so AI coding assistants can manage ignore rules directly. Cross-platform binaries.

Human Graph

In development

A careful tool for the people in your life. We're shaping it with the same principles as the rest of our work, and not in public yet. Reach out if you'd like an early conversation about what it does and who it's for.

Custom engagements

Work with us.

We take on a small number of custom-software engagements each year — when the problem fits how we work and the partner is the kind we'd want to keep working with after launch.

A typical engagement looks like:

  • A real product or internal system, not a brochure site or a one-off prototype
  • 4–16 weeks of focused build, with weekly demos and decision points
  • You own the code, the infrastructure, and the relationship with your users
  • Hand-built, not templated — so we keep the bar high on what we take on

If you have a problem that needs the same careful build as our own products, send us what you're thinking. Even a paragraph is enough to start.

Philosophy

What we build for.

The most important software in someone's life is rarely the loudest. It's the tool that gets a person through a hard day, the system that lets a small business run without burning out its operators, the interface that respects what its user actually came there to do. We design for those moments — when picking the right budget matters more than picking the biggest one, and where staying steady is the harder, better goal than going faster.

Every project starts from the same conviction: careful software is built for outcomes, not for engagement; for the long arc, not the next quarter. Our work spans chronic-illness pacing, AI-agent infrastructure, and the quiet tools that let organizations of any size move steadily without imposing on the humans inside them.

The Mark

A convergent series, drawn.

The mark is mathematical, not decorative. Every element earns its place.

  • Hexagonal seal. The frame of a serious institution. Quiet authority.
  • Six radial axes. The structural skeleton — six paths converging on a single point. Six-fold symmetry, like a compass.
  • Golden spiral. A logarithmic spiral whose radius shrinks by exactly 1/φ (one over the golden ratio, 1.618…) every quarter turn. The convergent series, drawn as geometry. The spiral begins at the right edge of the seal and lands at the central singularity in one full revolution.
  • Singular nexus. The point of arrival — where the streams meet.

Many things converging into one civilization-grade whole. The same thought the company is built around.
